Have created my images for acetate and drawn on my glass with stencil and silhouette images. Annoyingly got my engraver out and the collet was missing so couldn’t do any of it. I finally got motivated after a phone call with a friend at 1am this morning to start one of my sketchbooks and realised what time it was and so couldn’t get my paints out like I wanted to, and looking at the mess in my room, it really isn’t a good time! I have uni at 9am!
9am – Got to uni, delay as people can’t get to uni that early. Looked at design boards, then went to the workshop and engraved my pieces, then added enamels and put them in the kiln as I had fired the batt wash onto the kiln shelf yesterday in preparation. I used black, white and orange enamels. Images shown below before firing…
