The exhibition opening reception at West Ox Arts Gallery in Bampton went well and I was able to see the rest of the exhibits and talk to the artists. My family also came to the opening which was lovely along with my friend who kept me company on the drive from Wolverhampton!

We all then had a wander around Bampton before heading off to Bourton-on-the-Water which is a beautiful Cotswolds village in Gloucestershire. We had lunch in a lovely pub/restaurant called the Kingsbridge Inn before walking around in the sunny weather along the river. There are many small bridges that cross the shallow water adding to this picturesque place. When the sun comes out, it would be rude not to have an ice cream, so that we did outside the Motoring Museum.

A fabulous day out in Oxfordshire after the opening of an excellent collection of work exhibited at West Ox Arts Gallery for Oxfordshire Artweeks which I am a part of. I can’t wait to develop drawings of these beautiful places.
