I began an Adult Education Course tonight with Wolverhampton Adult Ed Service. The course title is above and there was a lot of paperwork to be filled out as I had expected. It is a very mixed group of individuals, some of whom I know are going to irritate me already! Still, I think I will learn something from the course at least. I am not looking forward to having to make the hair / head accessories such as a tiarra!!! I would rather learn techniques I can use for brooches, pendants and earrings but we will see.
This evening we then eventually started making a flower brooch out of coloured felt. It is a project our tutor Natasha found on the internet and gave us all a handout with the instructions on it. I hope to get on and at least cut out all the pieces ready for next week as we didn’t have time in class. I am hoping to be entered for the NCFE Level 2 rather than Level 1 after the 15 weeks to gain accreditation in the nex round of sessions as I already have a Level 3 NCFE from when I did my Art Foundation and I already have a broad(ish) knowledge of jewellery amaking as I already do it!!
