After a week at St. Edmund’s Catholic School last week, I am settled back in Wolverhampton after the Christmas and New Year break. Hand in day for the BAMS Competition is at the end of January so I went in today to cast my medals. I used the bottom of a plastic Coca-Cola bottle as the mould maker for the bottom of the medal. This was pushed into the sand first. I then had a layer of glass in the mould and added a Coca-Cola enamel painted petal shape into the middle followed by a further layer of glass and used the top of can to impress into the top.
