I have been painting the coca-cola logo onto a sheet of glass created for me in the hot glass workshop. I am going to put it in the kiln to fire it on then cut it into petal shapes and into the kiln again to fuse together in a flower shape. I will then drop them into sand casts.
I also completed some test sand casts today with bits of can, copper wire flowers and 3 triangles of thicker sheet copper. Two of the pieces had the same red on-glaze enamel painted onto one side of the sheet but not fired on beforehand as my test pieces of sheet copper with the enamel on just burnt out as they were not enclosed in glass so I hope these work!
