I finally received my CRB disclosure in the post today! I rang my placement school to arrange my dates with them but the person I needed to speak to wasn’t in so the receptionist has sent her an email requesting contact, so hopefully that will be sorted soon so I can get started! It’s so exciting to think I will be involved with a local school I have never been to before to work and gain experience and knowledge in the world of teaching in secondary schools in a city. It will be different to my work experience in my old school back home during my annual leave in my previous job as I was getting experience in a school as an Art and Design Technician. This placement is more focussed on teaching.
